Seattle’s DJ Illusion sends the grad off with the party they earned. We bring live, club-style mixing, professional sound, and dance-floor lighting that turns a backyard or banquet hall into a club, with clean song edits so the music works for the whole guest list, from classmates to grandparents. The grad can send a playlist ahead of time, and guests request songs from their phones during the party, so the floor stays packed all night.

All three packages include hosting and MC work, professional setup, and teardown. A premium white aluminum DJ booth and slim, powerful speakers keep the setup looking right in an upscale venue and out of your photos. If DJ Illusion is available for your event, you need to book him! He's super professional, flexible, communicative, and organized. Really, it was such an easy process, it was like one huge thing I didn't have to worry about at all. I would use him again in a heartbeat. He's also great with a crowd. Knows how to get people excited to join in, but also knows when the music needs to be in the background. An all around great experience.
Without question, I give Stephan (DJ Illusion) 5 stars across the board. Stephan was a pleasure to work with from the very first quote request and inquiry. His response and initial quote was prompt and thorough. Our needs were very specific as we needed his service for an after party following a very nice wedding. Our guests, including the bridal party, would still be dressed up and many traveled in from across the country so it was important that this party was top notch. Not only did Stephan deliver during the event with professionalism and fun, he kept the party going until 2am. Just about every guest was singing or participating in karaoke. In addition, because our needs were very specific, Stephan coordinated directly with the General Manager of the venue on needed equipment and made the entire experience seamless. The last thing we needed to worry about on the day of the wedding was ensuring that he could set up and/or would need guidance during the event. He just handled it and delivered beyond my expectations. I don't think I had to engage him at all until I had to ask him to stay another 30 minutes to close out the night. I would not hesitate to use Stephan again and recommend him highly for value, ease of coordination, preparation, responsiveness, adaptation to our needs and wants, professionalism and punctuality. Great service!!!!

DJ Illusion has great lighting and sound equipment, is very professional, and is a pleasure to work with. Our location created some complications for him, but Stephan managed them with grace and expertise, and our guests were happy and entertained.
DJ Illusion was fabulous. He is excellent with communication and organization; his emails were prompt, detailed, helpful, and organized. He takes his job seriously and is thorough with his set up so that students get the best lighting and sound experience. During the dance, his music, mic operation, and timing were impeccable; students stayed and danced the entire dance (usually many leave early). I would 100% recommend DJ Illusion!
I hired Stephan for my daughter's quinceañera event. He was very responsive throughout the process and worked with me on getting the program and the right songs. He has an exceptional equipment; sound, lights, etc. he was great with song selections and met all the request from young to old folks. Stephan ran karaoke at our engagement party at The Stables in Georgetown. When Stephan arrived, he took charge and got straight to work. DJ Illusion did an amazing job for my niece's Sweet 16. She and all the kids loved the music he played and really liked how he mixed it all together (she loves stuff from rap, to pop and country and he got it all). In addition, we had some games and he did a wonderful job adding in funny tunes at exactly the right time. They were HUGE fans. He was very professional to work with, super friendly and easy going. The lights and the whole set up were awesome. I can't wait to hire him for our next party.

Today (day after party) we are all sooo tired from dancing All night long. Yes. Unless you tell us otherwise, we play censored, radio-appropriate edits, so the songs everyone loves stay comfortable for every age in the room. That covers classmates, parents, and grandparents on the same floor.
We send you a questionnaire ahead of time to gather song requests and a do-not-play list. Guests can also make live requests from their phones using a QR code, with no app to download.
We do both. Your DJ is also your MC, handling introductions and announcements and shouting out the graduate. You decide how much mic presence you want, and we match it, guiding the flow of the night without ever talking over it.
Yes. We bring self-contained professional sound and lighting that work indoors or outside. For outdoor events we confirm power and a weather plan with you ahead of time.
Graduation season clusters into a few weekends in May and June, so book as early as you can once your date is set. If your date is close, still reach out, because we'll let you know immediately if we're available.
We cover the greater Seattle area including Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Renton, Kent, Federal Way, Tacoma, and Everett. We often travel up to 50 miles outside of Seattle, so contact us for events outside this range.
