These website terms are separate from the Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work (SOW) you sign when you reserve an event with us. Anything about deposits, payment, cancellations, refunds, travel, equipment, and event-day services lives in that agreement, not on this page. If anything here appears to conflict with your signed agreement, the signed agreement controls for your event.
Use of this website
You agree to use this site for lawful purposes only, and not to disrupt it, attempt to access areas you are not authorized to use, or copy our content for commercial use without permission. You agree that any information you give us through a form is accurate and current.
Intellectual property
The text, graphics, photos, mixes, and other materials on this site are owned by Illusion, LLC unless noted otherwise, and are protected by copyright. You may view, save, or print this content for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish or redistribute it without our written permission.
Brand names and product images shown on this site, including JBL, RCF, Pioneer DJ, Shure, Chauvet, and similar marks, are the property of their respective owners and appear for descriptive purposes only. Sample mixes are provided to represent our work, and the underlying songs remain the property of their copyright holders.
If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on this site improperly, please contact us through our contact page so we can review it and respond.
Photos, video, and likeness
We photograph and record the events we perform at, and our photo booth captures images of guests who choose to use it. As set out in your signed agreement, DJ Illusion may use photos and video from your event to promote our services, including on this website and on our Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube pages. If any guests should not be photographed, please tell us before the event and identify them, and we will respect that. Guests may take photos and short personal videos of an event for their own use, but no one may reproduce or broadcast an event without our written permission.
When a guest uses the photo booth and asks for their photos by email or text, we use that contact information only to send those photos. We do not sell it or add it to a marketing list.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
This website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work to keep the site accurate and online, but we do not warrant that it will always be available or free of errors. Your use of the site is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Illusion, LLC is not liable for any special, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Our event services are governed by the separate Master Services Agreement, which sets out the terms, liability limits, and dispute process that apply to those services.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to this website will be handled in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.
Disputes that relate to event services are handled under your signed Master Services Agreement, which requires the parties to first attempt mediation and then proceed to final, binding arbitration through Washington Arbitration & Mediation Service (WAMS) in Seattle.
Privacy Policy
Information we collect
We collect the details you choose to give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, and event information when you request a quote or contact us. When you use our photo booth, we may collect the email address or phone number you provide so we can send you your photos. We also collect basic technical data automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, through standard web analytics.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to quote requests, communicate with you about your event, deliver photo booth images you request, improve our website, and send you information you have asked to receive. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, in aggregate, so we can improve it. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, please be aware that we do not currently respond to it, since there is no common standard for how to do so.
Service providers
We share limited information with the providers that help us run the business, such as Google Analytics, our website host, our payment processor, and our email and messaging tools. These providers may only use your information to perform services for us. We may also share social media tools that help us measure and run advertising on platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
Text messages
If you give us your phone number, we may text you about your quote, your booking, or photo booth images you requested. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out of further texts.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for adults who are planning or booking events. We do not knowingly collect personal information through this site from children under 13. We do perform at school dances and children's parties, and any photos of minors taken at those events are handled under the photo and likeness terms above and the event booking agreement. If you believe a child has given us personal information through this website, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can opt out of marketing messages at any time. To make a request, contact us through our contact page or email [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you give us. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your information safe.
